Feder walks us through ‘Folies’ history in LV
Karan Feder’s new book, “The Folies Bergere! in Las Vegas,” gives both performance history and criticism of the French-derived show as it developed through the years on the Las Vegas Strip.
The author discussed her book, and signed copies on Saturday (Feb. 3) at the museum. The audience included alumnae dancers from “Folies” and several other Las Vegas stage productions.
Feder is the museum’s guest curator for textiles and costumes.
