Our speaker will be GARRETT WAKE, Deputy Administrator, Nevada Division of Minerals. The central theme of Garrett’s talk will be the Nevada Lithium industry.
“Nevada is currently the only lithium producer in the U.S. Over the past several years demand for lithium has increased dramatically, sparking a lithium exploration boom across the state and worldwide. Two major lithium-producing mines are set to begin production within the next two to four years. This presentation will cover the basics of lithium deposits, Nevada law relating to lithium brine exploration and production, Nevada lithium reserves, and current and future lithium producers within the state.”
