Twenty-one Friends and guess enjoyed a beautiful morning touring the Old Spanish Trail area in Blue Diamond. The tour was led by Nick Saines (Friends member) and Glenn Shaw (Nevada Director of the Old Spanish Trail Organization). Many thanks to both Nick and Glenn for sharing their knowledge.
Everyone had a great time and got some good exercise, viewing thew Trail and the Cottonwood Springs where John Fremont and Kit Carson camped on their tour of the Great Basin area. After the tour, everyone enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Cottonwood Springs Restaurant.
