Be prepared for an exciting and interesting afternoon. Due to a scheduling problem, our speaker for the day will now be Mr. Josef Diaz, Curator of History at the museum. If you know Josef, you know he is ENTHUSIASTIC, OUTGOING, and INTERESTING in his subject. This month it will be the Old Spanish Trail, the new exhibition coming to the museum next spring. Josef will give us a preview of the new exhibit – the challenge of putting together a new exhibition; where all objects come from; the people involved in the project; and the value it brings to our museum. Also, we will be able to see the 1850’s, Rio Grande, Navajo woven blanket just purchased by the Friends for the exhibition.
Do not mise this exciting presentation with a wealth of interest and knowledge. You will be glad you attended! The doors of the auditorium will open at 2 pm o. Thursday the 16th, and the meeting will start at 2:30pm. Be there or miss one of the outstanding presentations of the year.
